Harvest Festival

Please join us for our Harvest coffee morning on Saturday 11th October 2025, during which we will be decorating our church ready for our Harvest service the following morning. All are welcome at either event or both.

Gifts of tinned or dried goods will be gratefully received on either day. These will be shared between our local Food Bank and the Turnaround Bristol shelter for the homeless. Thank you in advance for anything you can spare.

For those who are able to attend the Sunday morning service on 12th October we will be holding a soup and pudding lunch afterwards. Please look out for more details through the notices at the start of our services, either in church or through our FaceBook live stream on Sunday mornings. If you wish to attend please ensure your name is added to the sign up sheet at the back of the church for catering purposes. Thank you.

Link to Hope Christmas Shoe Box Appeal

Throughout September and October we will be collecting small gift items to fill shoe boxes to donate to poor families in Eastern Europe. A list of required items is available through Link to Hope's website, along with more details about the ethos of this charity and their shoe box project.

"You Are A Star!" Advent/Christmas project

This year we are inviting people to make knitted, crocheted, fabric or felt stars to hand out to members of the public or to leave in public places for people to pick up during December. Each star will and have a tag attached with the "You are a Star" message and a QR code to direct the recipient to information about church services in the local area during the Christmas period.

Please pick up a pattern in church, and/or join us on Saturday 25th October at church between 09.00-11.00 for a crafting morning. Materials, instructions and refreshments supplied. All abilities welcome.

We will also make these stars the focus of our online Advent calendar this year. Each day on our Facebook page there will be a short message about star qualities , a picture of some of our crafted stars and a prayer. Help with writing these short prayers would also be appreciated at our crafting morning if you feel inspired to do so.

And finally, we plan to display all of our stars on a tree at the Christmas Tree Festival (see below) and bless them during worship that Sunday before giving them out. So look out for them during that weekend.

Christmas Tree Festival

Come and join us on the weekend of 28th-30th November to view our wonderful annual collection of decorated Christmas trees! Our theme this year is "Memories of Christmases Past".  Many of our church groups and individual congregation members decorate their trees every year, but there is always room for more trees if you would like to contribute one of your own. Trees ideally usually remain on display right through the Christmas period unless you prefer to take yours down beforehand.

  • Thursday 27th November - tree set up in the evening
  • Friday 28th September - Come and view the trees by fairy light in the evening and join us for mulled wine (non-alcoholic), mince pies and other light refreshments.
  • Saturday 29th November - Christmas coffee morning with stalls, refreshments, etc.
  • Sunday 30th November - Sunday morning worship among the trees
