Coffee and Craft Club

Our Coffee and Crafts club meets in our church on the first Saturday of every month between 10.00-12.00

This is a relaxed, informal gathering with some people bringing their own craft projects and others choosing to engage in bigger projects together such as banner making and stained glass window painting. Some examples are shown below. Currently we have approximately 20 attendees at each session. 

Tea, coffee, squash and cakes/biscuits are provided by members on a rota system and the room is usually buzzing with chat. 

We invite a suggested minimum donation of £2.50 per member per session (or whatever you can afford) to cover the cost of refreshments and craft materials for group projects. (Cash or card accepted.)

Why not drop in and see what we are up to? No need to book or to commit to attending every week.  We have spare materials and a few craft kits if you don't have anything on the go at the moment and aren't sure where to start. Many of us are happy to share our skills if you need a little help.

Here are some examples of what we were working on in our June 2026 session:

Our youngest member and her colourful unicorn friend have been enjoying paper crafts.

Our slightly older children and men have been painting model figures.

Many of our ladies have their own knitting, sewing, crochet and embroidery projects on the go. 

Some members are knitting hats scarves, gloves, blanket squares and hand puppets for the charity "Link to Hope". You can find out more about this in our charity page. 

We also have two group projects currently in progress that you might like to get involved with.  The first is a new church banner if you like sewing. The second is a set of 4 stained glass window panels to display in the church if you like art. You can join either of these projects at any stage.
